Our KOR Program

Unique to Krucial Staffing is our Krucial Onsite Representative program. At each emergency response deployment, we have an extension of the Krucial Staffing corporate team on the ground to serve as our staff’s point of contact on the mission. The KORs main purpose is to serve as a corporate representative, liaison, administrator, and steward for our field staff. Our Krucial Onsite Representatives take pride in helping direct staff on the mission and answering all of the reservists’ questions to ensure the operation is going as smoothly as possible.

KOR Responsibilities:

• Serve as Krucial Corporate Representative
• Point of contact for field staff
• Maintain accurate records of staff and distribute daily reports on staff activity
• Manage onboarding of field staff
• Manage timesheet approvals
• Manage shift changes
• Provide emotional and meaningful support to the staff when necessary

HURRICANE DORIAN

2019
Activated and deployed 24 clinical and 18 support staff within 12 hours of receiving activation notice. All responder orders were within 36 hours, for a total of 71 clinical and 66 support staff across nine shelter sites.

HURRICANE BARRY

2019
Activated and deployed 178 clinical responders and support personnel to two shelter sites in Louisiana. The majority of staff deployed within 24 hours, with all staff arriving to their respective locations within 36 hours.

BORDER SURGE

2019
Activated and deployed 36 different classifications in under 8 hours to rural Texas shelter despite logistical and operational constraints. A total of 20,990 shifts were worked by personnel including RNs, LPNs, NPs, mental health clinicians, and support staff.

NATURAL GAS EXPLOSION

2018
Activated and deployed 22 clinical personnel and 45 support personnel in under 72 hours to Massachusetts. Shelter staff augmented the shelters medical operations and remained on site for two months.

HURRICANE IRMA

2017
Activated and deployed 130 clinical responders from across the country within 24 hours. Majority of staff staged in north Florida prior to landfall and onward deployed to 19 shelter sites across the state.

HURRICANE HARVEY

2017
Activated and deployed 158 clinical and 31 non clinical staff across 6 shelters throughout San Antonio and Austin to receive evacuees prior to the storm. Upon activation of the Houston convention center as a mega shelter, a strike team was deployed to augment shelter operations.

MEDICAL SURGE

2016
Activated and deployed clinical staff to New Mexico to provide chronic and acute medical care, including intake assessment, vaccine administration and disease outbreak management. A total of 98,434 shifts staffed by 40 position types, including clinical and non-clinical personnel.

MASS CARE

2014

Activated and deployed staff to 13 shelter sites located throughout Texas. Sites were consolidated into two shelter facilities located in San Antonio, Texas and Lawton, Oklahoma. A total of 78,295 shifts were worked by 35 position types including RN, LPN, PA, ARNP, EMT, and paramedics.

HURRICANE SANDY

2012
Activated and deployed 33 RNs across 23 shelter sites located in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts to provide medical surge staffing. RNs served on 12 hour rotations for a total of 179 shifts.

JOPLIN TORNADO

2011
Activated and deployed RN staff from multiple disciplines, including ER, ICU and Med/Surg, to augment local hospital operations in Missouri. A total of 102 nurses were deployed over the course of nine months. Staff supported patient movement from impacted hospitals to surrounding facilities.

Overall, the clinical and non-clinical staff from Krucial & Favorite Healthcare Staffing demonstrated a positive attitude and a willingness to serve the impacted community. These efforts did not go unrecognized by the State and the survivors who were sheltered during the storm.

    Finally, the overall management structure of the mission was exceptional. Brian Cleary, CEO at Krucial staffing was the IC (Incident Commander) for the event. Brian assured that all resources, command & control and coordination were ongoing around the clock. Brian also deployed non-billable resources to Florida to help with management of emergency operations which is certainly a sign of their commitment.

    It is for the above that I have no reservations in recommending Krucial Staffing to any state or local government agency when emergency clinical and non-clinical staffing is being sought."
